Yale New Haven Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services (PBeH) specializes in the rapid, individualized assessment and treatment of patients with acute and severe psychiatric symptoms, offering a full spectrum of services. Our continuum of behavioral health care reaches throughout Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS), the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Connecticut. Transforming Psychiatric and Psychological Care

We offer inpatient, outpatient and Interventional Psychiatric Services for adults, adolescents and geriatric patients. Children are served under the umbrellas of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Yale Child Study Center. The goal of all our programs is to provide customized treatment for patients to enable them to return to their families and communities as soon as safely possible.

Our clinical staff includes nurses, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists, advanced practice nurse practitioners, occupational and recreational therapists, chaplains and milieu counselors. Our treatment philosophy is based on the principles of patient and family-centered care.
